Il prossimo 2 luglio si svolgerà a Napoli il primo Porto Aperto, una manifestazione che  è diventata tradizionale appuntamento in molti porti europei.  L’ evento è indirizzato ad aprire alla cittadinanza il perimetro delle attività portuali, consentendo un riavvicinamento tra la comunità del territorio metropolitano e la comunità delle imprese e degli operatori portuali.

La giornata è concepita in tre momenti, che vivono entro un disegno unitario:

- nella mattinata, a partire dalle ore 9.00, un traghetto consentirà ai cittadini che si saranno prenotati sul sito www.portoaperto.it o su sito istituzionale www.porto.napoli.it,  di poter effettuare una visita del porto dal mare, potendo osservare le diverse funzioni che si svolgono, dai collegamenti passeggeri per il Golfo alle crociere, dal traffico dei container alla cantieristica, dal polo energetico al trasporto delle merci solide; sono previste 3 turnazioni del traghetto, in modo tale da garantire ad almeno 1.500 visitatori di poter effettuare questa ricognizione negli spazi multifunzionali del porto;

- nel tardo pomeriggio si svolgerà un convegno su "Le porte di accesso alla città:   Porto, Aeroporto e Stazione", per discutere sul ruolo che i nodi infrastrutturali svolgono nell'attrazione dei turisti e nella funzionalità metropolitana.

- in serata, l'evento si concluderà con un concerto del Coro del Teatro S. Carlo di Napoli, aperto a tutta la città, che si svolgerà nel molo di Piazzale Razzi, all'estremità della Stazione Marittima del Terminal Crociere, con un panorama unico sullo sfondo, costituito dal Vesuvio e dalle isole di Capri e di Ischia.

Tuesday, June 7, 2016 will be held the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of activity of pilots to service the Port of Naples, made by royal decree on June 7, 1866. The day will begin at 9:30 am with the institutional Conference "The role of pilots in the 150 years of their history", at the Stazione Marittima, a moment of reflection on the history of the Corps of Pilots and their businesses. It will continue in the afternoon with the Blessing of the Corporation of Pilots of the Gulf of Naples at the Pilots Tower, scheduled at 16.00.

The 150 years told through three major axes linked: the story of pilots, maritime piloting seen through security and technological innovation and new prospects of the pilots in the international context.

 BLESSING OF THE TOWER OF DRIVERS

16.00 - Tower of Pilots.

The blessing of the Pilots Tower will be imparted by His Excellency Monsignor Francesco Alfano promoter of the apostolate of the Sea (Office CEI). Benediction will be preceded by the recital Entertainment "Chi tene 'o mare", by Gaetano Stella, Elena Parma, Fabio Notari and Thomas Fichella. Following toasts of good wishes of the pilots.
